Autumn 2026 News 💨🍁🎃

We now have 2 well established sites in Nansledan with a total of 32 plots and around 50 Nansledan Allotments Association members. The SANG site by the carpark (opened Jun 24, overlooks meadows and has great views over the valley to the north) was joined by our second site at Rialton, off Stret Pelyas, in Aug 25 and plots were quickly occupied. Our 2nd site has a different vibe to the SANG, is located amongst homes and surrounded by a Cornish wall. It has 18 allotments plots of varying sizes including a specially designed accessible plot. There’s also a new orchard with a variety of fruit trees to encourage wildlife plus a small landscaped open green space as somewhere to sit (due to be reshaped shortly). The site is already transformed thanks to the plot holders hard work over the past year. Autumn priorities are tidying both sites for the winter, planting bare root trees and overwintering vegetables plus clearing and mulching beds ready for early Spring.
